Who I am
I'm Saeed Karimi, an engineering leader and founder of SKDEV Labs. I've spent years building production systems in crypto, fintech, and dev tools — working with stacks like Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
My work spans everything from custody integrations with Fireblocks to uptime monitoring tools like Pharos. I lead teams, mentor engineers, and ship software that actually matters.
I also create content sharing systems architecture, career advice, and the journey of building SKDEV Labs. I believe in learning by building real things and sharing what you learn.

Is this mentorship right for you?
Junior devs → Full-stack
You know the basics but want to go deeper — frontend + backend, APIs, databases, and real architecture.
Self-taught & stuck
You've done tutorials but feel lost when building your own projects. You need real-world project guidance.
Mid-level → Senior/Lead
You can code but want to think like a senior: design systems, lead projects, and make technical decisions.
Build & document publicly
You want to ship projects AND share your journey through YouTube, Instagram, or blogging.
Note: This is not a "learn to code from zero" bootcamp. You should already know the basics of JS/TS and be ready to build.
What you'll get

Real feedback on real work
Code reviews and architecture feedback:
- •Breaking down tickets like in a real team
- •Helping you think like a senior dev
- •Not just write code, but design solutions
Career and content guidance

Plan your roadmap
We create a simple roadmap together (skills, projects, milestones).
Meet & iterate
We meet regularly, review your work, and adjust the plan as you grow.
Why learn from me?
Real-world systems
I build crypto/fintech apps, monitoring tools, and dev SaaS products that ship to production — not just toy projects.
Engineering leader perspective
I know what hiring managers look for when promoting or hiring devs. I'll help you think and work like someone worth promoting.
Builder + content creator
I don't just talk theory. I ship code daily and share the process. You'll learn how to build AND talk about your work.
Fair warning: I will be honest and direct with feedback. The goal is for you to grow fast, not just feel good.
Frequently asked questions
How much does mentorship cost?
Pricing depends on your situation and commitment level. We'll discuss it over email once I understand your goals and where you're at in your career.
Do I need to be a full-time developer already?
Not necessarily. You could be a student, career switcher, or working part-time. What matters is that you're serious about leveling up and have time to work on projects between sessions.
Can we focus on a specific stack (e.g. Next.js + NestJS)?
Absolutely. I work primarily with Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Postgres, and crypto integrations. If your stack aligns, we can go deep on those tools and patterns.
How long is the commitment?
Typically 3–6 months to see real progress. But we can start with a single session or month-to-month arrangement if you prefer to test the fit first.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Mentorship only works if both sides are committed. If it's not the right fit or your situation changes, we can pause or stop — no hard feelings.
